About the Journal

Fitrah: Journal of Islamic Education (P-ISSN: 2723-3847; E-ISSN: 2723-388X) is a peer-reviewed open-access journal which has been established in 2020 for the dissemination of state of the art knowledge in the field of in the fields of Islamic Education. This Journal is published twice a year (January-Juny and July-December) by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Sumatera, Medan, Sumatera Utara, Indonesia. Fitrah: Journal of Islamic Education is concerned with publishing original (library or field) research articles in the field of Islamic Education Philosophy, Islamic Education Policy, Islamic educational institutions, History and modernization of Islamic education, Islamic education curriculum, Islamic education learning and teaching.  All submitted manuscripts will be initially reviewed by editors and are then evaluated by a minimum of two reviewers through the double-blind review process. This is to ensure the quality of the published manuscripts in the journal.

Fitrah: Journal of Islamic Education has become a CrossRef Member and  all articles published will have unique Digital Object Identifier (DOI) number: 10.53802. Fitrah: Journal of Islamic Education also has indexed by Google ScholarBaseGaruda, PKP Index, Cite Factor, Index Copernicus.

Peer Review Process

Fitrah: Journal of Islamic Education journal applies a peer review process system for all submitted articles. Each article is processed by a board of editors and reviewers who are experts in their fields. The peer review process system in the Fitrah: Journal of Islamic Education , journal uses the Double Blind method, where the reviewer does not recognize the identity of the author, and the author also does not know the identity of the reviewer. Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Archiving

This journal utilizes the LOCKSS system to create a distributed archiving system among participating libraries and permits those libraries to create permanent archives of the journal for purposes of preservation and restoration.

Publication Ethics

This is the statement of ethics for Fitrah: Journal  of Islamic Education published by Sekolah Tinggi Agama Islam Sumatera Medan.
